Pollinator Garden Workshop

February 4, 2017

In January 2017, Grove Park Community Garden was awarded a pollinator garden grant through the "Pollinators in Parks" pilot program from Atlanta Botanical Garden and Park Pride. On February 4, 2017, our garden manager, Harry Clements, Jr., took the next step in making the pollinator garden a reality. Harry joined the leaders of several other Atlanta gardens in a workshop to learn more about the pollinator garden that we are receiving, the pollinators that will benefit from the gardens and to draw up the pollinator garden plan. Site preparation and volunteer recruitment are soon to come. We hope to install our new pollinator garden sometime in early to mid spring.

Here are some photo highlights from the workshop.
